Patience was placed in a loving home with a 13 month old Doberman puppy for her to mother. Unfortunately during a routine spay the vet found cirrhosis of the liver. She was immediately started on supportive care medications but succumbed to stomach torsion only a few short months later. The veterinarians felt that with her current condition she would not make it through the gastric torsion surgery so her family and I made the very difficult decision to have her humanly euthanized while surrounded by her loving family. She will be greatly missed.

When Patience passed away a piece of my heart went with her. She was the one who made me fall in love with the breed. Patience was loved by Wilikinia and her son until the very end. I was lucky enough to be sent a small piece of Patience and a clay paw print to remember her by for the rest of my life.
